WHY ENERGY MANAGERS ASSOCIATION?

Energy Managers Association is a non-profit technical-scientific association between professionals in the energy-plants engineering sector, founded in Bari in 1985 by  Energy Managers founding Members.

Its main purpose is to promote and develop a correct management of energy resources and the technological innovations connected to them, energy efficiency and renewable energy supplies , a sustainable use of energy, the promotion of Sustainable Development, training , updating and protection of members operating in the sector. 

The Association achieves its social goals through:

• continuous professional training and updating on energy legislation and professional instruments ;
• organizing conferences and meetings on energy issues and professional courses;
• the preparation of surveys, publications and studies for the collection of data on relevant topics for energy management activities
• organizing visits, educational trips, setting up libraries and databases, teaching courses;
• dissemination and collection of information through the website;
• the exchange of experiences and data between members, energy managers, and operators in the sector;

The Association is a member of the Italian Alliance for Sustainable Development, the Environmental Council of the Municipality of BARI, the District for Sustainable Building of Apulia Region.
